Elaine, a mindfulness meditation coach, speaker, facilitator, yoga instructor and reiki healer, shares workshops and classes that are accessible, multi-sensory, informative and experiential. She is the director and founding teacher at Yoga Tribe.

Her focus is on the integration of mindfulness, neuroscience, yoga, and somatic embodiment. She creates and delivers trainings, keynotes and workshops on mindfulness at the workplace and beyond. She has worked with corporate leaders on how mindfulness can create paradigm-shifts at work, impacting stress levels, resilience, creativity, emotional intelligence and happiness. She also spends her time teaching yoga and meditation to individuals and non-profits.

Elaine’s work stems from her training in insight meditation practices, Embodied Flow yoga, dance and somatic therapy (ongoing). She has studied with internationally-recognized leaders in the field of yoga, meditation and/or somatic therapy: Tara Judelle, Scott Lyons, Bonnie Bainbridge, Noah Maze, S.N. Goenka, Jack Kornfield and Sarah Powers.

She is also a certified NLP practitioner, educator and coach. Her interest is on researching how meditation, yoga and movement practices can transform society, one corporation at a time.


Cheryl is an engager, inspirer, and adventure seeker. Even though she first discovered yoga during her undergraduate studies, it took a few years before her practice moved beyond the physical realm. Under the tutelage of her teachers, she discovered the immense potential yoga has to awaken our physical, emotional and spiritual psyches.

Having been labelled as a troubled youth in her teens, her committed practice enables her go beyond her limited beliefs, self-regulate when triggers arise, and be an empowered individual. She believes in practicing and teaching yoga from a place of compassion, empathy and most importantly — love.

She is the founder of The Breathe Movement, a social organisation that provides accessible yoga-based programs to at-risk communities in Singapore. Cheryl continues to study under Scott Petrie, Seane Corn, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor.
