Are you a giver? Do you find yourself giving to others every day? Our jobs, family, friends and various communities often ask of our time, attention and resources. As a result, we might feel there is hardly enough time for self-reflection, deep rest and a renewal of our spirits. How then can we start to give back to ourselves, or receive?
To slow down, to take in the moment, to pause and meditate is one way to renew and refresh. In this 4-week meditation course, you will slow down, tune in (instead of tuning out) and connect. You will explore mindful meditation techniques to practice daily, connect with a group of like-minded people, learn some gentle yoga stretches to help re-focus, learn to give back to yourself and find what is truly important to you.
From a place of chaos and busy-ness, let yourself explore how the gifts of meditation, community and self-inquiry can uplift you – For clarity, natural vitality, purpose and peace. If you wish to give back to yourself, or gain more clarity and insight, this course is for you.
In this programme, we integrate progressive findings in neuroscience, positive psychology, insight meditation, somatic techniques and mindful yoga, taking ancient practices into the modern context of living and giving.
We skillfully weave in guided meditation practices, gentle stretching and movement, group dialogue, partner work and personal reflection. This course consists of four 1.5-hour sessions.
By the end of this course, you would have the tools to awaken and give your joy, authenticity and aliveness with yourself and others. All levels of meditators are welcomed.
All participants will also receive valuable reference materials for your home practice, and recommended reads.
