Ever wondered how to meditate, or to bring a meditative quality into your daily life? If you already meditate, have you thought about deepening your connection to your body, mind and spirit with a community of like-minded meditators?
This 6-Day Mindfulness Meditation Course is designed to bring you into a natural state of ease, well-being and vitality. Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present and attuned, and not reactive or overwhelmed by things around us. Research has shown that meditation has a profound impact on one’s mental, physical and emotional health. Explore the brain-changing, simple yet powerful experience of mindfulness meditation.
In this programme, we integrate progressive findings in neuroscience, positive psychology, insight meditation, somatic techniques and mindful yoga, taking ancient practices into the modern context of living. Because many people find it difficult to meditate, we engage the senses in movement and stillness to support the process of discovery and deepening.
We skillfully weave in guided meditation practices, gentle stretching and movement, group dialogue, partner work and silent sittings. The course consists of five 2-hour sessions. It culminates on the 6th day as a Loving Silence retreat.
By the end of course, you would have the tools to awaken your joy, authenticity, aliveness and connection with yourself and others. All levels of meditators are welcomed.
